Tesa 52310 is a 5thou (100µm) thick double sided Platemount Tape specially suitable for compressible sleeves and thin plates (.045" or 1,14mm) in flexographic printing.
The unique properties of tesa 52310 Platemount Tape make it the ideal choice for high quality printing, easier demounting of plates without damaging them and clean removal from the sleeves without leaving residues. The unwind characteristics of Tesa's 5thou thick platemount offer easier tape mounting. The structured PP-liner also prevents the formation of air pockets when plate mounting. Plates are easily repositioned during mounting as the full adhesion of the tape only becomes effective during the print run. The high adhesion and good shear resistance of these tapes ensure that there is no plate movement or edge lift problems, even at high speeds and on extended print runs. tesa 52310 flexo platemounting tape is also especially well suited to the mounting of photopolymer plates on compressible sleeves.
