How does Glow Tape work ? Our Photoluminescent Tape ( Glow in the Dark Tape) absorbs light on exposure, and glows in the dark, will glow for up to 8 hours. One thing to know about glow tape, as the tape loses it's charge (doesn't appear to be brightly glowing), if you walk in from being outside in a lit up area, the tape may be appear not to have much glow, but as your eyes adjust to the darkness, the glow becomes more brighter for many more hours. This is how photoluminescence works. I have seen this product still glowing brightly after being absent from light for over 10 hours.
