Adhesive Edged Teflon Zoned Tape is generally 5thou (.15mm) thick, we also supply in thicker grades. PTFE Teflon Zone Tape is primarily used in applications where it is not desirable for adhesive to come in contact with a heating element or it is necessary to cover an expensive component of a packaging machine such as silicone sponge or foam. Teflon Tape with Adhesive Zones (adhesive only on outer edges) 

Teflon adhesive zone tape features adhesive strips on both outer edges while leaving a central non-adhesive “free zone”. It is typically around 0.15mm (5 thou) thick, with thicker grades available.

PTFE glass fabric zone tape is used where adhesive must not contact heating elements or sensitive machine components such as silicone foam or sponge, and where mechanical fastening of PTFE fabric is required.
