Scotch Self Amalgamating Tape 23 ( Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape) has greater physical and electrical properties that are unaffected by the degree of stretch. This tape is highly resistant to split, crack and flag when exposed to indoor or outdoor environments. It is designed to splice and terminate cables whose emergency overload temperatures can reach 130c. 3M / Scotch 23 Tape is a self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber, high-insulating voltage tape which has a snakeskin liner that is easily removed as the tape is applied. Scotch Self Bonding Electrical Tape -  23 is a premium, highly conformable, self amalgamating Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), high voltage insulating tape. Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape 23 has a “snakeskin” liner that is easily removed as the tape is applied. Scotch 23 tape is widely used in the "Telco" / Communications industry for splicing cables, installations & maintenance of Mobile & Broadband Networks.
