High Temperature Woven Fabric Coated Teflon Tape which is adhesive backed. Our Woven Teflon tape (Heat Sealing Machine Tape) can be used in applications where there is constant scuffing / objects constantly brushing against the surface of this tape, or heat is applied, such as on Heat Sealing Machines ( such as Impulse Heat Sealers ) where heat is applied to rolls of plastic, tubing, bags.
When should I replace the Teflon tape on my heat sealer?
You should replace the tape if you notice:
- Burn marks, discoloration, or tears in the fiberglass layer.
- Plastic film sticking to the sealing arm or wire during operation.
- Inconsistent or weak package seals.
