Electrical Tapes & Self Amalgamating Tapes

We have a wide range of self amalgamating - mastic tapes & electrical tapes available, from basic ‘electrical / electricians Tape’ up to specialised electrical tapes used in industries that include telecommunications, power transmission, aerospace, rail, electroplating, etc. Our electrical / mastic tapes we have available come from 3M, Scapa, Husky, Nitto, Stylus and Tesa. Reclosable Fastening Systems

We have velcro and the 3M range of fastening systems which include dual lock and hook & loop, 3m dual lock is designed to hold weights heavier than standard velcro. 3M dual lock comes in different variations & adhesives. Depending on what dual lock is selected, you may need two parts (‘male/female’) or other dual locks such as the clear products - SJ3560 or SJ4570 (Low Profile) can stick to themselves meaning only one roll is required. We supply the 3M range of fastening systems in small quantities, which are the 3M trial bags. The 3M SJ3560 clear dual lock we supply by the metre if you do not require a large quantity.

Single Sided Tapes

Our single sided tape category covers a broad range of products that includes; foil tapes, packaging tapes, filament / strapping tapes, masking tapes, cloth tapes, gaffer tapes, electrical tapes, ducting tape and custom printed tape. Safety tapes

Our extensive range of safety tapes are here to assist you with your O.H. & S. (Occupational Health & Safety) requirements. Our safety tapes (OH & S Tapes) we have available include:

• Anti-Slip / Tread Tape / Non-Slip Tape / Safety Walk Tape - this is available in black, white, yellow, clear & black/yellow striped. Different variations of this available to us are - a ‘glow in the dark / fluro version, wet surface version that comes in clear (plastic) & black (rubber), & a ‘conformable’ version designed to go on un-even surfaces, such as checker plate / diamond plate surfaces.
• Barrier Tape - (cordonning off areas), available in colours such as red/white striped or black/yellow striped. These tapes can also be custom printed. 
• Lane Marking Tape - marking out ‘traffic areas’ such as warehouse floors, walkways, basketball courts, squash courts, etc. Available in blue, red, white, yellow, black/yellow striped & red/white striped. For indoor use only. 
• Reflective Tape - all different grades (prismatic, honeycomb, class 1, class 1w, class 2), designed for use on machinery, vehicles, signs, bollards, car parks, etc.

Die Cut Products

Embossing & Tape Supplies can die cut and convert our range of double-sided, foam & single sided tapes to almost any size or shape. We can satisfy your requirements with the exact form, fit and functionality you need. Whether it's laminating adhesives to substrates, precision or die cutting, slitting, or ‘kiss cutting’ (having a tab on the tape for easy lift off) — at Embossing & Tape Supplies, we custom engineer materials to meet your precise specifications and manufacturing needs. We can also provide samples to test before committing to an order.

Embossing & Tapes Suppies’ Die-cut Adhesive Tapes can be produced from an array of materials, or from a combination of several laminated together. Window gaskets are die cut from either single or double sided foam tapes. Double sided foam tape mounting tabs are produced / die cut for signage and mounting posters. Consumer items such as bathroom accessories. Small cushioning feet used at the back of picture frames and under ornaments and appliances are die-cut from various foams, rubber and felt, laminated with a suitable adhesive and supplied in either rolls or sheets. Double sided tapes and hook and loop fasteners are die-cut for removable or permanent mounting, reflective tape, non-slip tape, & photoluminescent tape (glow in the dark tape) are die-cut for use in safety and hazard areas.

Many industries now realise the benefits associated with using die-cut pieces of adhesive tape. Easy and efficient application saves both time and wasted materials. Die-cut pieces of adhesive tapes are used in electronic components, automotive parts, and home furnishings. Die-cut tape pieces can be sent with the product for assembly later, or for 'D.I.Y.' installations / installation kits. Die-cut pieces/shapes of tape achieve a professional finish with a perfect fit each time.

Protection Films, Laminates & Tape

We supply a range of protective films which come in logs ranging from 1220mm down to 900mm that we can slit to meet your specific requirements. Colours available for protection film include clear, black, blue & black/white. Our protection film we supply are from 3M, Nitto & Fletcher Insulation (Spotstik). Our range of protection tape is designed for protecting products from being scratched, scuffed during manufacture, transport & installation. Protection tapes are designed to be removed & not to leave a residue when removed (timeframe is dependant on what product is selected). Our protection tapes we supply are from 3M, Tesa, Husky, Stylus, Venture & PPC. Our laminates & protective coatings come from Fletcher Insulation & Cello Paper. These products include Sisalcraft and dukbak (Sisalkraft is also known as ‘Tar Paper or Bitumen Paper’).

About Hot Melt Adhesives

Hot melt adhesives/hot-glue sticks have a relatively hot melting point that ranges between approximately 250 - 380°F (121 - 196°C), depending on the formulation. They are applied with hot-melt applicators, commonly referred to as hot-glue guns. Hot-melt glues provide a nearly instant bond between many plastics, wood and paper, but when the bond is reheated, some varieties will soften, allowing the bonded surfaces to be separated. The quick-stick nature of hot-melt adhesives speeds up operations in production and packaging.
