Tesa Tear Tape provides easy access for your product to the consumer with a simple pull. Tesa Tear Tape (Tear Strip Tape) creates easy opening of plastic food packaging while also eliminating use of knives or scissors which could potentially damage or contaminate products packaged inside.
Main Applications White Tear Tape Is Used For;
Tesa 7446 is specially designed for the belting of plastic bags used in the food packaging industry. The modified adhesive can be securely applied to plastic bags containing slipping agents.

Tear Strip Tape creates easy opening of plastic food packaging. The recipient simply grabs and pulls the exposed end of the Tear Strip that is applied to the packaging during production. Tesa Easy Open Tear Tape eliminates knives & scissors that could damage the packaged product.
Tesa 7446 is a white bag belting tape (spool wound tape) with a PP backing. Its modified silicone adhesive system offers excellent adhesion to printed or unprinted plastic bags. There is another version of Tear Tape available, which is red, designed for cardboard / paper packaging, that is - Tesa 51235 Red Tear Tape.
