Teflon adhesive zone tape has custom sized strips of adhesive on the outer edges, leaving a non-adhesive “free zone” in the center. Adhesive Edged Teflon Tape is generally 5thou (.15mm) thick, we also supply in thicker grades.

PTFE Teflon Zone Tape (Woven Teflon Tape with adhesive strips laminated on either side, no adhesive in the middle) is primarily used in applications where it is not desirable for adhesive to come in contact with a heating element or it is necessary to cover an expensive component of a packaging machine such as silicone sponge or foam. Zone Teflon tapes should also be considered in applications where PTFE-Glass fabric needs to be mechanically fastened to a surface.
